Did C.B. Dolloway's arrogance get in his way?

I knew it was going to be his pitfall. A huge majority of arrogant people usually end up falling flat on their faces due to their arrogance. So, I wasn't surprised that he lost in the end.

*Not to take anything away from Amir Sadollah because he is a VERY talented fighter and one dangerous dude.

It seemed to me that he respected Sadollah's skills, but he was really in control until he slipped up. He wasn't expecting to fall for the same trick twice, which is probably why he did. As for the tap, he definitely tapped, but he changed his mind immediately. I kinda felt bad for him.

I don't think it was his arrogance.....Amir was simply better on the ground and CB left himself open to the armbar not once but twice.

Maybe it did.  He seemed pretty confident about this fight and pretty much all others.  I just don't think he knows how to defend against the armbar.
