If not, why was he absent in that race and the Preakness?

  1. No, Casino Drive did not run in the Derby, but I think that he can give Big Brown a run and make him earn the Triple Crown instead of having it handed to him.

  2. He's been shipped over from outside the US, with the distance an attraction. He's a nice colt that should press Big Brown to earn his win.

Jazil won the Belmont 2 years ago. Rags To Riches last year. They are both out of the same mare as Casino Drive - Rags is a 3/4 sibling. Don't be too quick to discount him.

  3. Here is the video of Casino Drive in the Peter Pan Stakes.

  4. as said above he had not qualified for the derby, and let me tell you he is a horse from japan, and the japanese dont send losing horses over seas, casino drive will take a tower of beating, big brown better bring his A game!

  5. No. Casino Drive has only raced twice (once in Japan and once at Belmont Park, winning both races) Casino Drive would not have qualified to run in the Derby, and his Belmont Park win was on May 10th. Casino Drive may be a nice horse (purchased for 950 thousand dollars) but I think Big Brown will blow his doors off.
