Did Cedar Point buy Carowinds?

My friend told me that today. She said all the names of the good rides were changed and Cedar Point had bought Carowinds. I LOVE both parks sooooo much.

So i was just wondering.

Yes, Carowinds is owned by the Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, the same company that owns Cedar Point.
