Did Charles Manson really stop a clock by looking at it during one of his court hearings?

Somebody told me this. I searched the internet and I could find references to it but no actual account of it happening.

No, not a clock, Vincent Bugliosi's watch. He told about it in his book Helter Skelter, if you haven't read it, get it from the library, it is a fantastic book, Bugliosi was the prosecuting attorney in the case and Manson tried to freak him out constantly.

Its a very old saying "you have a face that will stop a clock" Meaning he is very ugly. and Manson not only was very evil but very ugly too

NO. Charles Manson was and is nothing more than an ignorant fool. He has no magical powers ... all he has is time to be insane . He now spends 23 hours a day in his cell .. one hour out to exercise and for his own safety is not allowed near general population.

He's never been anything but a pathetic little man.
