Did Charlito symbolize...the real Carlito?

What I mean by that is...Primo beat Charlito...aka Carlito.

I might be thinking way too much into this....and it might not mean anything. I was thinking though that Primo beat "his brother"...so he can be on his own...and be better. Right before the match he was saying he's nothing like his brother.

What are your thoughts?

  1. Charlito "charlie haas" has been outta the spotlight recently and I think this was an Adale fricking original of his!!

  2. you have a point, & i do understand where you're coming from..

  3. My opinion is most fans think Carlito is wasting his big opportunity at the big-time.  Everybody agrees Carlito has a lot of talent, he's good on the mic, his gimmick is pretty good.  But he just doesn't really put any effort into his performances, as if he really doesn't care if he gets to be on TV or not.

I think with "Charlito" the WWE was making fun of Carlito, as if they were saying anybody can put on a wig and be as effective as him...and lose.

As I said, most fans think Carlito is squandering his opportunity and think the WWE is wasting their time keeping him on the roster.  He just doesn't seem to care about anything.  Ric Flair said it best, "Carlito, you have no passion for this business!".

Primo was telling us, the fans, that he is not like his brother.  Primo was telling us that he will try his best to entertain us, to give us exciting wrestling matches.  Beating "Charlito" was symbolically saying that yes, he is better than his brother.

  4. It is well known that Carly Colon Jr. (The guy whose ring name is Carlito) is actually unhappy with how the character Carlito is being portrayed and being run in WWE.

I think Charlito is a way to make a fun of this issue, or perhaps to issue a statement to Carly Colon, if he's unhappy with how the Carlito character is being run, someone else (Charlie Haas) is more than glad to replace him.

That's the negative possibility. A positive possibility is that it is a start to a new gimmick of Charlie Haas which is a Mime gimmick, in which he would go on to be an impostor of many superstars and Carlito happens to be the first character to be copied by him, and perhaps this has something to do with the debut of Carlito's brother, Primo. They are trying to create the kind of Kane vs Kane situation and perhaps there might be a match between Carlito and Charlito in the future, and perhaps with involvement of Primo?
