  1. The girls in Gymnastic looked underage but unless the IOC has prove they can't do anything.

But other country have cheated in the passed too.

  2. Yes, its shameful, CHINA  lied and cheated! not to mention showing a false image of their nation to the world, they "sanitized" Beijing!

Why can't IOC do something to the deceptions?!

  3. complaining because they got beaten by a toddler? yeah. so unfair.

  4. After China led by gold medals, some sore losers tried to fabricate lies to make themselves look better.  But, such lies have no foundation, no proof and no evidence, whereas the birth certificates and ID of the participants were verified to be genuinely according to declared ages.

While olympics endeavour to bond humans towards a common ideal of unity and oneness, many still perceive it to be a bragging rights, and when the perceived bragging rights seemed lost, they deemed it justifiable to cast groundless aspersions at others.  We know who the culprits are.  Because they thought they can vindicate their loss.

  5. Being half-Asian I always looked a lot younger than I was. When I was 15 people thought I looked 12 and didn't believe that I was a secondary school student. So I don't find it suprising that the chinese gymnastics athletes look so young.

  6. China didn't cheat in Olympics. Some jealous people say that they cheated but this world is not perfect.

China won 100 medals and they led in gold medals (51)

  7. It's hard to say whether they cheated, which I am thinking you are pointing to the gymnastics team, or not. It doesn't look like the IOC cares enough about them cheating. It definitely looks like the gymnastics girls are underage, but we can't prove this.

No matter what though, I still do not think that it was right that the Chinese did not let the little girl who was actually the singer in the opening ceremonies be on stage because she wasn't "cute" enough. It shouldn't matter what she looks like; she had a great voice, and she be recognized for it.

  8. Who knows for sure, but no way in h**l that girl was 16 and I don't care if people claim she was, not a chance in h**l. 14 max.

  9. They are 100% underage. We have mastered the skill of telling someone's age just by looking at them. I mean how else could they have won so many golds, which is unlike Phelps who won so many golds at swimming and never once cheated. Sure, our gymnasts stumbled quite a few times, but it is more important to focus on the issues of cheating. Plus, all the international judges were biased and conspiring against us. It must be they are still holding a grudge against our War in Iraq which killed children and civilians, lying about WMDs, human right abuse in Guantanamo Bay, secret foreign prisons, water boarding torture, faking of intel documents, unpopular foreign policies, blah, blah. Old news.

I guarantee that when the Olympics is held somewhere else other than China, we will 100% win the Woman's Gymnastic Event unless of course UK bribes the judges and causes us to lose again.

  10. I think no 1 will ever know or find out

  11. seems like they cheated , some of  their gymnasts looked like they were 12 years old

  12. i forgot about the americas team performance, but with the girls who were accused of being underaged it was confirmed twice already that they are of age

  13. We don't know YET. But I'm having doubts that NY Times told the truth of a Bronze medalist that said she's 14. I search the Internet and I can't find the video-recording of THAT interview with Yang Yun. I thought did the NY Times faked Yang Yun's Sydney Olympics story so they can get leverage on their underaged claim? Hmmm.

    A avg list:

    Comparing Female Japanese/Chinese/US Gymnasts:

JPN: Avg height: 4'10'' Avg weight: 82 pounds Avg age: 19

CHN: Avg height: 4'8'' Avg weight: 77 pounds Avg age: ~16.8=17

USA: Avg height: 5'0'' Avg weight: 106.5 pounds Avg age: ~18.2=18

Could it be that the eyes of Westerners who is fooled by the standard of their OWN. Look at that weight comparing to JPN and CHN. Look at the height even though USA avg their age one below Japan.

  14. they looked to young to be in the Olympics . their gymnastic team

  15. It's hard to tell, although i have faith in that China did not cheat as for the fact that they probably don't want that controversy and image whilst being the host of it.

Also think about whenever you see an Asian person, can you tell their age?  Probably not, or you could just go around the movie theaters, and pay some attention to the ticket booth, you will see some frustration in those workers' faces because they could not figure out whether they should or should not let them into rated r movies..

also a fact about gymnastics is that, the training is so intense that the athlete hardly have any body fat, and i think that is a reasonable statement about why those girls look as if they were not "16", "their body is also slender (i guess i should say that) genetically

  16. i dont think they cheated. they must've practiced a lot! cuz even if the little chinese girls were only 14 or whatever, they're weaker than a stronger 16 year old. it doesnt really matter. i just enjoyed watching the olympics and how talented all the athletes are!

  17. You must be talking about the gymnastics team.

At first, I thought that they looked really young too.  But Cheng Fei looks like she's about 14 and she's really 20..  No one seems to doubt that and she competed in Athens too..

..which makes me think it's possible that all of them are old enough

  18. there is no evidence they cheated, and questionable proof they didn't.

You be the judge.  Have you ever seen a girl that young looking drive a car in the US.  Do you think her birthday is really Jan, 1st., 1992? Sounds fishy but we will probably never know.

  19. The IOC has staged an investigation, actually twice already, the verdict is NO, they couldn't find any solid proof that Chinese young gymnasts are underage. Now that is an official verdict, I know some Americans will definitely not accept it though.

Admit or not, there has been a huge bias toward China as a country, its government as a governing body and probably Chinese as a human race and I believe the bias will continue. Where is the bias originated from, needless to say. Why does the bias prevail, thousands of reasons.

However let put the bias thing aside and face the facts, IOC has concluded the speculation of underage gymnsts is no grounds, so my vote is China hasn't cheated in the games and Beijing Olympic is a success. Job well done, China.

  20. I don't think so. One thing people do not understand is that Asians look much younger compared to others. I think a lot of it is just biased media.

  21. Not at all. The reason American tried to make Chinese looked guilty because they are sour loser.

But the major reason for Chinese gymnast team won the team gold metal is because American team made some big mistakes at least 3 times.
