These judges' scores are bullshit, giving chinese athletes strong scores when they clearly are making mistakes.

  1. You are just making Americans look like sore losers.

  2. Let's assume they are, wouldn't an American judge tell his people.

Oh no, another conspiracy theory made by a citizen who is mad that China is winning the gold medal.

Accept the fact that China has actually gotten better over the years since 2000 Olympics.

  3. This is the most ridiculous joke in 2008.

  4. thankfully the American girl won so i doubt they will look into the judging but they should because the scores were complete bullshit and everyone knows it, the scores were as true as those girls being 15

  5. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/olympics/...

Until you find an article with this kind of formality about Chinese cheating by bribing judges, you will sound immature.

  6. Yea...they bribed them for a BRONZE. Hahahahaha.

Clearly they didn't pay them enough!!

  7. Well I've yet to meet one person that didn't think the China balance beam was way too high.

And how do you know the guy asking this question is American, geez I hate jealous foreigners.

  8. I do not believe any bribery took place.  But when the world is angry at a nation then the olympic athletes of subjectively judged sports pay the price.    Many experts have concurred that the scoring was unjust, too bad!  Too bad for ALL  the athletes and too bad for the reputation of the olympic ideals.

  9. Apparently, I feel that these Judges probably wants to give in to China just because it took place in CHINA! And it's extremely unfair! Some atheletics did better but ended out, China beat them!

And probably, that's the only thing China is good at - sports!? I dont understand it all too~ Though I must agree that some Chinese do perform rather well. :)

  10. No, they didn't.  You don't know c**p.

All American dope because Marion Jones did.  See?  That is your kind of logic.

BTW, didn't American won gold and silver?  American must have outbid the bribes.

  11. I'm sure the American judge who just awarded China the lead 1 and 3 qualifier for 3m diving prelim was also bribed?

  12. Yeah!! Its really unfair

  13. I don't know whether they are bribed or not. I would certainly hope not, but there have been several instances where you begin to wonder about some of the capabilities/biases of the judges. You should expect that over a range of judges covering an event the scores should be similar, but there have been several times that that is not the case, sometimes the spread is huge like 0.6 points. You also begin to wonder when a Chinese gymnast falls and still manages to get above 15.4, while another gymnast falls and barely pushes 14.5.

I like to give people a benefit of a doubt, but when you see some serious discrepancies, you can't help but wonder if there is indeed bribery going on. I hope there is an investigation because it would lay to rest any doubt whether for or against and we can move on.

  14. You don't know how to count scores, you can't be a judge.

Degree of difficulty is included in their points. Points can be awarded. Of course, deduction for mistakes.

If you don't know, don't make a fool of youself, please. Grow up.

  15. Maybe it isn't bribing, there is a lot of anti-American feelings out there.  The Chinese gymnasts in particular have gotten a lot of good scores and do not seem to be getting deductions for their mistakes.  In any case the Chinese female gymnasts aren't all of legal age.  The Chinese newspapers even written about it.  Some how they all have nice Chinese passports that say they are 16.  Everyone knows it is a lie, but no one is going to fight with the Chinese government about it.  In any case I saw the women's vault, and if a Chinese athlete can beat a an American athlete when her hand touches the ground on the landing, something is not right.
