Question:

Did Chris Osgood learn the art of diving from Dominic Hasek?

We all know that Dominic Hasek has a history of chickening out of big post season games. Tonight, Christ Osgood was worthy of winning an Academy Award. I can only think that Hasek's diving skill has rubbed off on some of his Red Wing teammates.

  1. yes, he should have been given two diving penalties.

Then your Penguins could have got 1 shot on each of those power plays, times 0% of their shots going in = shut up.

  2. You're right... if that penalty wasn't called and you were even strength for the last minute, the pens would have won.

    ...idiots.

  3. haha yup.

  4. No, Crosby

  5. Well at least he has two shutouts against a classless team.

  6. need a violin? got nothing to do with the outcomes

  7. He is the biggest diver on the Wings.  And people complain about Crosby, LOL.  This just shows that many people "embellish", but it depends who they guy is for the refs to call a penalty.  It is ridiculous.

And Sykora barely touched Osgood.  Osgood then went down like he was steam-rolled.  What a classless loser.  He should be in movies, he is a pretty good actor.

  8. If your team doesnt hit him, he doesnt dive.

    Simple as that.

  9. Instead of whining about things the Red Wings are doing why don't you talk about the great things the Penguins are doing?....oh...wait...nevermind.

  10. Did you even watch the replay? Sykora clearly lifted the shoudler. And by the way your not allowed to hit the goalie period.

I noticed you failed to bring up the cheap shots the Pens took on Frazen.

  11. no he watched Crosby in game 1.

say what you want, but Osgood is a phenomenal goalie, and that would have been a penalty either way.

  12. You do not go after the goalie.......I do not care who you think you are.

  13. That had everything to do with the Pens getting completely dominated again....didnt it? Do they hand out awards for being incredibly stupid at key times in the game.Pick your Pen...starting with Sykora who knew full well that even a little bump would draw call. Or Malone and Roberts, maybe the Wings should take out Fluery once so we can hear you whine about that too! Or CryBaby Crosby losing draws and crying like a little girl (that is what he is very quickly getting a reputation around the league as....biggest girl on the ice....I'm telling my Mommy on you, you arent playing fair) Boo freakin' who. Quit crying about your own teams stupidity....the Wings have completely OWNED you!

  14. If you watch the replay, he was hit hard enough to go down.  Did he help it?  Maybe, but then again, that has proven to be a good strategy for goalies in the NHL.  Frankly, hit or not hit, hard or not hard, there wasn't a darn thing wrong with going down, if it worked.

    And it worked.

  15. Could not have said it better. Also not one word of him "diving" was said tonight by those idiot announcers.

  16. Probably, but he also learned how to win and shutout other teams, so it was worth it.

  17. I'll admit that he did do a good acting job, but in his defense (and I will ALWAYS defend Ozzie) seeing that he was behind the net and actually was hit, (although not hard) the best thing he could have done was take the dive and wait for the whistle to blow because there was no way that he could have gotten up and back in front of the net in time to save anything.  That's typically not his style though so to compare him to Hasek is a little much at this point.

He did give an Oscar-worthy performance though.

    Go Wings!!!!!

  18. It may suppose to be that!
