Did Christ insult the church by putting their business out there on the table by calling them hypocrites?

Someone asked me was it a sin for me to insult the church. I would like to ask people who find what l wrote insulting. What is the difference between what Jesus did with the pharisees and what I'm doing now. I'm exposing the leaders for who they are and what they stand for. If what l'm doing is a sin, then what Jesus did was also a sin. what l write is what l experience and if you are offended, then obviously you must be guilty and one l am speaking against. l am not going to bite my tongue and show compassion toward leaders and those who have been playing church majority of their lives. I believe if you expose a wolf for who they are, eventually the rest of the wolves will peel off their clothing and be the sheep that Christ ask of. If you know anything about John the Baptist, he was beheaded because he kept exposing Herod and Herodias sin every chance he got. All of God's chosen people were not tongue biters when it came down to telling it like it is. Now l can go around calling the church hypocrites like Jesus did and let the world know how false a lot of the church really is, but l believe if l hit the head hard enough, just like John the Baptist did, who knows what change may take place. Yes John was beheaded for speaking the truth. Yes Jesus was crucified for speaking the truth. so if you want to find it insulting, then take it as that. I am still going to do what l am called to do. When God commands me to leave the wolves alone, l will but until then l will continue to do what lm here for.

  1. Congratulations... you get the prize for the longest circular argument of the day...

  2. We should never try to compare ourselves to Jesus. Jesus knew the thought of the Pharisees heart and he knew what they thought. Jesus was the light of the world and he came to bring those things which were in darkness to light. I believe if God leads you to tell people about their sins (but you must remember not to judge them) you should. Only if the Holy Spirit leads you to tell them. We must not try and fulfill our own desire and say God told us to do this.

  3. Amen!  I believe that we must speak out against blatant corruption.  People are going to stumble and be weak, but there are the Pharisees of these times.

  4. Wow sorry you seem to be having a bad afternoon.

Answer:  I think the word insult isn't severe enough compared to His actions and words, why, didn't he curse the fig tree and kill it right afterwords. Seems He was holding back a bit while He was at the synagogue.

I don't know what you wrote but if the Church is in the wrong according to God's word I would say you could say what you like. Ask ?'s before you get yourself in a tizy over nothing, don't judge to quickly.  Keep your anger under your control (you don't want to invite satan to join you) and walk away if you have to, just like Him. He is the example for us. I can tell you what infuriates me when Church's do these things to raise $ for groups within their own congregation, but overlook any orphans or WIDOWS in need of help within their community. AUUGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. The groups of church leaders that Jesus called hypocrites WERE hypocrites. The Pharisees, for examples, told people to obey the laws, but they themselves did not. They put heavy loads on people's shoulders but did not lift a finger to move them. Many churches treat g**s this same way. They just say g**s are going to h**l, but don't offer them any love or even tell them about what Jesus has to offer them. I would go with you to churches like that and do as Jesus did. However, not every church is like that.

The CHURCH comprises many denominations and sects. Don't make blanket statements about everyone in the CHURCH because the true believers also are a part of the CHURCH, and they are not hypocrites
