  1. How does one man "steal" land??? I think that C.C. didn't "discover" America in the first place. If he did, it would be named after him. As for "stealing" land, I think it was our forefathers that wanted the land for farming.

  2. Ponder this fact.  Christopher Columbus never landed on mainland America.

  3. His "lies" were in his daily journal, in which he often 'underestimated' how far they were from home - If the crew ever found out how far away they really were, they'd want to mutiny and turn back.

  4. Nobody even knows who exactly was here first so the term native American is kind of silly.  The new world had been inhabited for centuries before Columbus arrived and nobody has any idea if the inhabitants in the 15th century were even related to the very first people to inhabit the land.  For all anybody knows the people that were there when Columbus arrived stole the land from somebody else.

  5. Was there a need to lie about it?

  6. Go to your local library and read about Christopher Columbus.

  7. Christopher Columbus didn't set foot on North American soil to steal anything

  8. I agree with Oga Poga

  9. Just finished reading a good book, "1421 how the Chines discovered America", Columbus and all the early explorers are mentioned in this book and how they all knew before they even set out on there explorations exactly where they were going what they were going to find thanks to early Chines exploration, Piri Reis map, very interesting what was said about the Columbus brothers - good read.
