  1. she used her beauty to capture Caesar's heart and had her brother exiled from power so she could rule on her own

she died by using a couple of asps (poisonous snakes) to bite her and she died from the venom

  2. Cleopatra VII Thea Philopator (January 69 BC – 30 BC) was a Hellenistic ruler of Egypt, and last Queen of Egypt. Cleopatra was definitely not beautiful, however, she was a powerful seductress. She used her charm and wit to challenge her opponents, and capture the hearts of some very powerful figures of her time.

A study of a 2,000-year-old silver coin found the Egyptian queen, famously portrayed by a sultry Elizabeth Taylor, had a shallow forehead, pointed chin, thin lips and sharp nose.  Cleopatra is not physically beautiful, but is still beautiful because of her wit, intelligence, charm, ambitious and most of all sexuality.

She used these as her weapons for politics, to win people's hearts and to gain power from men. Lust is what makes men weak, and Cleopatra used this to her advantage. She was famously known to have wrapped herself in Persian carpet and had it presented to Caesar by her servants. It is believed that Caesar was charmed by the gesture, and she became his mistress.

Cleopatra's death remains an unsolved mystery. Most  ancient sources, particularly the Roman ones, are in general agreement that Cleopatra poisoned herself by inducing an asp to bite her, other believed she was actually murdered by Octavian,  Julius Caesar's nephew and later became the first Emperor of the Roman Empire, after the fall of Egypt.
