  1. *sigh*

    WHAT'S IT TO THOU, BUB?

THIGH DESIGNED ALL BEINGS NOT TO REQUIRE TOILET PAPER. EVER HEAR OF A FISH WIPING ITS ASS?

    THIGH THINK NOT.

ONLY THOU STUPID HUMANS FELT THE NEED FOR IT.

  2. I think they did what we see horses, elephants, and any other animal do....the poo just sort of falls out as they go about their day...like nothing happened.   Wow....glad we evolved differently.  lol

  3. They used rocks, it was cold in France and there was little vegetation on the ground during winter months.

Actually I made that up, prove me wrong, b*****s!!!!!

  4. Why would they have rolls of paper when paper had not been invented?

What would they have used instead.

Scraps of softened leather, bitts of fluffy fur, the fleece from sheep or goats, bark, plant fluff, and if they traded with tribes to the south maybe sponges?

  5. Well, they didn't have paper at all, so they probably used leaves or grass.  There really isn't any way for us to know for sure.

  6. Even most primitive humans today, defecate near streams, and clean themselves with water...

  7. Since they sometimes wore elaborate clothing, they probably did care about such things.  Soft absorbent leather was around at that time, so that is one option.  The Romans used a kind of sponge on a stick, which would be cleaned, and re-used, and I don't see why the Cro-Magnons could not have started with something more basic, like a stick with thick fur wrapped around one end.

But why worry about the Cro-Magnons?  There have been lots of armies fighting lots of battles in more modern times with no soft toilet paper.
