That was Bush making that promise back in 2000 at the Washington University Field House.

Big Pharm helped financed his campaign So Bush made a few changes to Medicare for them. Remember the Town Hall meeting in Harry Truman's home town. He was telling a bunch of old folks they could get free drugs.

But you got to hand it to Bush for his aids program. He effectually sold $45billion dollars worth of out of date AIDS meds to the US tax payers and we in turn gave them to African Nations.

OK I'm all for helping people with their health care issues. And the AIDS drugs were just going to waste in warehouses. But I have a problem with a President that is also a salesman for Corporate Plutocrats.
