he probably did,,,but this one did happen on pot black a few years ago,

a snooker commentator said during a game " for those of you watching in black and white the pink is the ball behind the blue "

He definitely did some years ago now though, I cannot remember who he was commentating on but his co host Clive everton cried with laughter, it as been on it'll be alright on the night a couple of times, snooker gold.
