  1. It's a shame to see England come into the World Cup looking the way they do and performing to such a low standard.  You would think after winning the Webb Ellis Cup in 2003 that they would have injected a lot of time planning to retain their title....  They certainly didn't look too hungry to win back their prized possesion.

A little humiliating for them if they don't go any further than Pool A, a real shame.

  2. Well, you certainly drew a few responses from our Colonial friends.

The game, the team and the management are disjointed and lacking leadership. We need to take it apart and start again. If this World Cup has served one purpose it is to teach England rugby that it has lost it's way.

Different teams have their day. England had theirs in 2003. This time it looks like the All Blacks - and let us remember how many years it has been since they last won the World Cup.

Now, let's talk about football....our national game!

  3. sure did the guinness tasted so much better...

  4. I'm a kiwi, and even I was embarrassed by the English rugby team. Usually I cheer for the under-dog, but this time I still wanted the Springboks to win. Sorry to the English, but at least you are good at Soccer

  5. Proud of what?  I've seen more creative play in a tin of biscuits.  Weren't the Boks superb tho?

  6. Nope. I remember why I was booing them off at Twickenham now.

  7. yes, proud to be French... forever.

  8. they did their best in the last 20 minutes of the game, when they realised the kicking game was not working-this could be because they did not have a decent kicker-and did create chances............to little of a fight far to late!

no reason to be proud though!

    they are the world champions!

    They played like amateurs!

    Shame about Robinson though!

  9. Yes, proud to be living in Scotland.

At last those over-rated morons south of the border have got their just desserts.

  10. yes - proud that I don't support English rugby!!!

  11. England are rubbish and know it and were hammered by South Africa!

Wales are rubbish, but take themselves too seriously to realise it, but they will also get hammered by South Africa in the quarters!

Ireland are rubbish, but have the talent to make it to the semi-finals where they will get hammered by South Africa!

Scotland are just d**n glad they will not play South Africa!

I am proud to be English, but disgusted with our team at the minute, they have no pride or passion!

  12. YES, i have  just watched wales get bloodied by another southern hemisphere none sporting "team".they are intent on deception ,a quick elbow here , a swift knee there ,evil players ,should stay down under where we put them.emails wecome.

  13. Yes, proud to be a Welshman.

  16. it made me laugh

  17. Well according to stuart barns englands backplay was "Yeoman like" "Ernest" & "Honorable"..

So i guess that means unimaginative, irresponsive and just plain c*ck....

  18. barely anyone cares about rugby union in england, its a stupid sport played badly by public school boys.

even tho im not a fan of the sport i can tell the difference between the c**p we play and the southern sides play, makes me laugh looking at those public school boys upset.

  19. They were pants !!!!! and brian ashton still seems to think they played a far better game than last week.

They are now becoming a laughing stock,I feel sorry for the loyal fans who have payed good money only to watch that shower play...the england rugby team along with the coaches e.t.c should all be prosecuted by the trades description act.

Farrel was a waste  of space once again.

  20. Yes ,it was pathetic and it made me  very proud that  I`m a Kiwi.

  21. Of course not as everyone who supports them know!

  22. It made me proud that I am a Springbok supporter.  :-)

That aside, England were dreadful.  Catt and Farrell were absolutely shocking.  In fact, only Robinson did England proud - sad to see him hurt, hope he recovers to play the rest of Englands games in his last World Cup.

    Go Boks!
