Did he heck. Finchem puts on a teleconference every week of the PGA Tour and yesterday's was as business as usual as uh, usual. The main news was that Farmers Insurance, who sponsored the Northern Open earlier this year, would continue to sponsor the tournament next year. Asked for info about Woods return, Finchem only reiterated that the star was preparing to return to play. Blame the media for hyping up a quotidian occurrence in this case.
