Did Friedmans jewelers get sold?

I have an account and I mailed in a payment.... they mailed it back and now I am getting calls from some off the wall company..... saying that I am late and BLA BLA BLA....... Any news on what is up?

If you were late and they turned your account over for collection, they will not accept the payment , since they sold it to the collection agency/

Did Friedman's send a letter back with your payment?

They must have a collection agency to handle their bills?

THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION IS THAT WHEN FRIEDMANS SOLD ALL THEIR DEBT TO ANOTHER BANK THE INFORMATION GATHERED GET SCRAMBLED AND PUT BACK TOGETHER. (FROM ONE SYSTEM TO ANOTHER) THE ONLY WAY TO TRUELY FIX YOUR PROBLEM IS GO INTO YOUR LOCAL FRIEDMANS STORE AND REQUEST A COPY OF THE LAST INSTALLMENT CONTRACT THEN FAX THIS TO THE NEW COMPANY. THE CORRECTIONS TAKE UP TO 24 HOURS.
