Fuzzy is alive and well and making a comfortable living on the PGA Champions Tour. It's shame his comment wasn't taken in the manner in which it was meant... to be funny; but that shows how overly sensitive we've become in America. Tiger's not even black (he's mostly Asian), and no one can say "fried chicken" without a fuss. I'm surprised KFC didn't go out of business after Fuzzy's remark... oh wait, black American's DO eat chicken. So to speak the truth, even in jest, is offensive. As Bill Cosby would say... he lost some sponsors that was very costly. he still playing and doing ok. the world must get used to not using the name tiger or the popes name in a joke.

No, it didn't end his golfing career. It did affect his earning potential from his then major sponsor, Kmart, because they dropped him as a Kmart representative. He still plays the Senior Tour, has his fan base, and gets to play in The Masters every year because he's a past champion.
