  1. there were rumors that he was homosexual but there's no evidence

  2. There is no historical evidence that George Boleyn was a homosexual. He unhappily married Jane Parker, which sparks the rumour that he may be a homosexual. The book depicts George Boleyn as having a homosexual lover, though historians suggest he was known as a womanizer. Although he could have been bisexual, which was very common back in those days, for a man to have "male lovers", however, there is no historical evidence to prove this either, only speculations and debates among historians.

  3. You already got a great answer, so I just wanted to say isn't it a great book?  I loved it :)
