  1. Mans rejection of Gods precepts and values has contributed to a distancing from his spirit and a conspicuous absence of his presence in the world.

There is no evidence to corroborate mans maturity or intellectual and spiritual ascension.

  2. Vice-versa...

If we consider him  "the father", then we did grow up and lost contact, not because he left, because WE left...

  3. Im not answering your question but simply interpreting and saying the same question in a different way.

    Are we Gods?

  4. at least He hasn't abandoned me.

  5. assuming there is a god, if he didnt abandon us hes like the parent who refuses to help or give advice. like raising a child in silence. if we did that to our children they would grow up to be pretty screwed up to. And to those who would say he gave us the bible as guidance. if i wrote my 9 month old child a note and said here live by this note and then i left to watch him from a window in the next room for the rest of his life would i be a good father. could that note possibly answer all his qusetions for a ever changing world. people say they love there god so much, its like loving a father who left you at birth.

  6. No, i dont think he abandoned us, some of us abandomed him. It doesn't matter how old you are, a child, teen, adult, all the while we want him in our lives, he is there. At least, thats what my opinion is. I grew up as a child being in a church choir and going to sunday school, but when i got to about 16 i didnt bother going to church anymore and didnt even pray, however a few years down the line, i started praying again and did go back to church for a while. He will always be there for us if and when we need/want him...

  7. there is no god

  8. Not at all, but on the contrary, people who has abandoned GOD !!!

  9. In my opinion,God will not abandon us and He will be there for us whenever we need Him..In fact we are the one who choose to be away from God..especially when we dun need Him anymore in our lives..we tends to hav forgotten about Him...All these situation will happen during the time we have grown up and starting to get busy with our lives matter and eventually we will forget about His existence

  10. Because all humans, at some level, question the meaning of life and attempt to find the answer throughout their lives, I believe God is ever drawing us closer to the answer. The fact that we question and seek an answer is proof of God and that He did not abandon us...else we would quit questioning and seeking.

  11. Absolutely not!  God gave us free will and the opportunities to use that free will to live the best lives we can.  That's hardly abandonment!

  12. Using the idea that all knowledge is a gift from God, then he gives us more knowledge on a daily basis today then he did in the past when there were less answers and more reliance on blind faith.

Using the idea that he no longer 'appears' to us, then yes.

My personal belief, I'll let you know when I figure that out for myself.

  13. God would never abandon us.

we've grown because God has allowed us to grow and change, and even doubt him.

    He gave us free will.

  14. No he left to prepare for us a place in heaven. If we have grown at all its down or backwards. Losing sight of the good through years of falling farther into deception.God had grown tired of our unbelief and just in time Jesus came in and said let me save them and it was done

  15. Basically humans woke up and applied the parameters of reality to religion and POOF god disappeared.

  16. No. God will never abandon us, God is perfect in Catholics opinion. He has created us with perfect love, none of us will ever know what perfect love is.

He made us in his image,,, yes we have changed our image to make us more self confident... its very important that we are okay with ourselves, now i must admit plastic surgery was not in gods plan if you ask me. God wants us to acsept ourselves for who we are. but in todays world some things arent acspeted so we have to change ourselves

EVOLUTION: And God knows that we must evolve and let our minds go to work, evolution is a good thing, God knows that.

    hope i helped.

    :)

    please choose a best answer.

  17. I'll answer with a question . Are my grown children still my children? Do I understand your query?

  18. 1st Interpretation: First tell me when did he own us?

2nd Interpretation: God is the platform on which everything exists. If god had abandoned us, you would not have posted this question and i would not have answered it ;) . No matter whatever is the level of our technological advancement, the basic necessity of life still remains same.

  19. Now way.  He never abandon us, even if we turn our back on him.  As we grow older we become maybe more attached to God because we realized the things we could have done better. God is there just whisper his name.  You are never too heavy for God to carry you over good and Bad times.

  20. No only Texas
