You know, This is the democratic party's secret weapon.  This flop pick by the Rep. party doesn't really seem that well thought out.  

After the flash in the pan, its appeal should just fizzle away.  Notice that she wasn't picked to run the whole ball of wax.  No woman was considered on that side of the isle.

If Obama gets elected she gets a Supreme Court Nomination for being a good democrat.

If Obama loses, she is the defacto democratic presidential candidate in 2012 and Obama sails off into obscurity.

I don't think they are laughing.  They had no idea an accomplished woman does not have to be a flaming militant liberal feminist. That is what is so worrisome to the feminist block of dems..... they are adamant women are victims and can not succeed unless they march forward in lock step as a phalanx of liberal comrades.  Sarah is a threat to their intolerant world view.

They are plotting the demise of Obama, Hillary knows if Obama loses she and perhaps Palin will run for President, this will guarantee the first female President.
