Did Hillary Clinton even want to be Obama's Vice President?

Everyone seems to be in an uproar about all this, but did she even want to be Obama's # 2?

No, Hillary wanted to be the top of the ticket. The VP was just a consolation prize.

Hillary wanted to be given the position without being vetted.  Obama wouldn't compromise on his process.  Bill Clinton brings alot a baggage to VP position which wouldn't be in the best interest of the Obama campaign.

Yes she did. There was some talk between her camp and Obama.

But the problem is that her oringal suggest was that he should run for vice president to support her....even when he had the numbers and she didn't.

She was hardly going to be the right person to back up Obama.

I know man people think they would be a great combination and Biden seems a fairly boring older white male candidate. But I don't think Hillary and Obama would be a good team.

Being in second with someone else directly above her would settle to well with her, therefore I'm sure she'll be much happier in another position where she is the head honcho.
