  1. Hey yeah, I did notice that look on Michell's face, it looked like hate mixed with jealousy.

What Hillary said in her DNC speech and what she said during her campaign clash with a loud bang. And she also knows her supporters know this. I think her speech was what she knew she had to say, but that "double-speaking" you refer could also be called between the lines and this is what I heard.

She and her husband said what they had to to be good dems.

  2. It's possible she was.....

no sense in her burning bridges....

  3. No. Honestly I was prepared to expect her speech to be of less quality.

But I paid attention to the flow of what was said and the tone. What she connected to what. A then B and C then D so on..

So -never give up- was very deeply set in a context designed to make her own supporters feel like they should not shame themselves falling into petty self-indulgent resentment.

It was very clear to me. Not double-talk there. (And I would love to say she is double-speaking if I can catch it. I can remember feeling irritated by hearing her even four years ago ant the last convention. And endless weeks of irritation at hearing her this year.)

  4. Nope.

    Sorry, she jackmuled McSame tonight.

  5. Well, we all know Hillary's opinion of Obama.  What else should she have said?  She knows that Obama is not qualified but she's committed to the Democratic party.  She has no option than to support the Democratic nominee.

  6. Oh please, give it up.  How disingenuous can one be.  She said Obama 'must be president' and that the election wasn't about her at all.  Stop trying to twist what was a clear message.  What a joke.

  7. She was trying to bring her supporters who threaten to, at best, sit out the election back in for Obama.

  8. Michelle's face was just fine.  She said that Obama MUST be the next president and then she sure kicked McCain in the political crotch though.  That was great.

It was a very clear, concise speech that was absolutely great and very supportive of Obama.
