  2. Scientific American magazine recently  had an article saying that they did.  Look it up at www.SciAm.com.  I forget what issue it was, though.

  3. i don't think we'll ever know. i was just watching a special a couple of days ago and those 'experts' claim that they theorize that they did not interbred. the reason being, neanderthals were a different breed and would not have been able to interbreed with homosapiens.

  4. Their dna has not shown up in any dna tests on modern man thus far,so it seems unlikely

  6. that is one of the possible explanations for the disappearance of the Neanderthals.   I think it's more likely then they died out.
