    No, the track wasn't unusual.  It was only a matter of time before New Orleans was hit. According to LiveScience.com reporting, the National Weather Service and the National Hurricane Center made good forecasts of the pat of the storm and its potential for massive damage.

    A day before the storm came ashore, " the agency warned in capital letters: "SOME LEVEES IN THE GREATER NEW ORLEANS AREA COULD BE OVERTOPPED.'' "
