  1. I believe you ate enough since you had 3 courses which were filling enough

You had very healthy meals because of the fruits and vegetables

the wheat bread should have been 1 in my opinion but other than that it is a very healthy selection.

    I think about 1000- 1600

    :)

  2. You ate reasonably healthy yes...watch the butter and check if the bread is not only wheat but 100% whole wheat. "some" scrambled eggs...how many eggs were used? Banana smoothie..did you make it? whats in it? if it was bottled then check the sugar. Chicken..did you eat the skin? was it dark meat or white meat? Salad...what kinda of dressing..they can be very fattening and MOST have high fructose corn syrup.

    1645 calories

In order to know if you ate enough I would need more information..hows your current weight? are you trying to lose? are you trying to gain? are you just changing your diet to a more healthy one?

they meals you chose were good but watch the details..sauses, dressings, and sugar content. :D

  3. you ate really healthy today. keep it up!

  4. 1) Yes--- I liked your choice of wheat toast and ascrambled eggs for breakfast. There is some cholesterol in the eggs of course, but not enough to do you much harm at  a younger age.

The banana smoothie was a good choice. It tastes good and is usually nutricious. Salad would depend on how much and what type of dressing you used.

    2) Yes

    3)1500 or so

2)probably, depends on how much chicken was consumed.

  5. ask your question at http://www.TrainHero.com

    Good Luck!

  6. wow good job kudos! that sounds very healthy to me except you should include beverages because they count too! maybe adding a few more whole grains since that should be thats the biggest food group on the pyramid.

for the average person thats probably enough, but it depends on how active you are. im a track and cross-country runner so i would still be a little hungry.

i would say around 1000 calories maybe less which is pretty low so dont feel guilty to eat a little more.

  7. good job

  8. 1. sounds like you ate very healthy

    2. you probably ate enough, but a little more protein would be fine!

    3. around 1500 calories, give or take

  9. You sound very healthy because you had not too much fat, but still a little in the butter, and plenty of fruit and some vegetables :)

I'd say you eat enough and your calorie intake was around 700 - 1000 calories :)

  10. Good thinking! Asking others helps to know what the options are.

One thing you might want to do is try drinking at least 8oz of water before every meal. I try to drink at least 12-16 oz. It helps also to wait about 15 to 30 minutes before eating and you are less likely to eat as much.

You may want to keep track of how many calories you need according to your weight and get a little exercise every other day walking is very good.

I just joined a gym as a real treat for myself and the group aerobics are excellent for encouragement.

Keep up the good work... It all depends on the way you see things from your mind and heart in order to have a good and positive outlook!

  11. You ate a modest amount and that's good, but your diet is not perfect. Americans eat way too much fat, sugar, and salt. Check out Dr. Dean Ornish (a heart specialist) for more information about this. My diet is far more stringent than that recommended by Dr. Ornish:

    1. You should eliminate butter and all fat (even most good fats) and substitute one fish oil pill. You should not eat the yoke of eggs and you should not eat eggs that are fried in oil. Get Egg Beaters or just hard boil eggs and eat just the whites (pure protein).

    2. A banana smoothie without added salt and sugar is fine, but most smoothies contain a huge amount of sugar. Refined sugar is very bad for your health.

    3. Avoid meat and chicken. Do not add butter to the steamed carrots, and do not add salid dressing with oil to the salad.

    - Did I Eat Healthy Today?

    No.

    - Did I Eat Enough?

    Yes.

    - AROUND how much calories did I eat today? (If you dont know say "you ate around 800-1000 calories!" or something. Make A Range!

It's difficult to estimate, but that sounds like a correct range with the information you provided. Just one smoothie can easily add a 1000 calories, however. Fats are very calorie rich. My suggestion is that you eliminate all: Salt, Sugar, Refined Carbohydrates, Alcohol, oil, and meat (including fish) from your diet. Focus on fruits, vegitables, whole grains, tofu, and beans. Eat when you like but don't stuff yourself. It's almost impossible to get too many calories when you develop a life long habit of eating only healthy foods. You should read labels and ask questions in restaurants. Most 'corporate foods' add sugar to non-fat foods to improve taste. They add fat or sweeteners to low sugar foods. You cannot count on the FDA to protect you from additives that have been proven to cause cancers. Eating a healthy diet can reduce your chance of high blood pressure, coronary disease, and cancers.

To round this off, you should get at least 8-9 hours of deep sleep every day. You should work toward aerobic exercise for one hour per day, five days per week. Please read one of the fine books by Dr. Dean Ornish for a less stringent diet and excellent recipies that will assure that you have better health and vigor for your longer life.

  12. Yes you ate healthy today, stay away from fried foods.. baked, grilled, and stewed chicken is good. for lunch, you could have ate a lil more maybe a garden salad. and stay away from heavy dressings, and you ate about 1200 calories... not bad.. not bad at all... keep up the good work

  13. 1. yes, you ate healthy ,and nutritiously

    2. I´m no doctor, but I think you should eat a little more lunch.

    3.  and as for thae calories, I´m going to let you find out by yourself http://www.thecaloriecounter.com/ (you need 1400 calories a day) (I think)

  14. 1. Yes, you did.

    2. No, not for lunch.

    3. Around 1,000-2,500

  15. well done!!

  16. -yea, you ate fantastic today, good job!

-you should have ate more solid food instead, like a salad with a banana smoothie instead of the Kellogg's bar.

    -hmm, probably around 1,600-2,000 calories

    Good Job Though!

    Keep it up!

    :]

  17. - yes you def. did eat healthy today (: all those are very healthy things. Except white bread is really bad with carbs, try switching to wheat or rye. Also use a light butter :)

    - You ate enough, a lot of people trying to lose weight or eat healthy have a very bad problem with not eating enough in the day, which makes you gain weight!

    - You probably had around 300-800 calories, def. not 1000!

  18. you did well.

  19. You could skip the butter on the toast but yes it was pretty healthy. Depending on if you exercise and your daily routine you may need to eat more but that was probably around 1000-1200 calories so that's a healthy amount.
