Did I Eat Healthy Today? Please Help Me Out!!!!! Click Here!? :-D?

Hello. Thank you so much for answering my question. Anyways, Today I Ate:

- Breakfast: 1 packet of instant quick oatmeal and I added half a banana to it. (7 g of protein, 6 g of fiber)

- Lunch: 1 Special K bar. (It has 10g of protein. Its naturally and artifically flavored. It has 180 calories.)

- Dinner: A little chicken, some steamed carrots, and a salad made from lemon juice, parsley, cucumbers, green onions, and tomatoes.

Snack: about 6 small strawberries.

Here Are My Questions I Want Answered:

- Did I Eat Enough Today?

- Did I Eat Healthy Today?

- AROUND how many calories did I eat today? (If you don't know say something like "you ate around 800-100 calories" or something like that. Make A Range!

Answer ALL three of my questions in order please & whoever does that is who Ill choose as "Best Answer!"

  1. 1.  I think you should've eaten a little more today; especially at lunch in particular--I don't think a special K bar is enough to fill you up for one meal.  You might want to add more to that lunch (i.e. fruits, a slice of bread, vegetables) or even go for alternative healthy lunches such as...salads, soups, and even sandwhiches can be healthy for you depending what's on it (little or no condiments, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and deli turkey or ham).  So in my opinion, you should add a little more to your diet, but above all, listen to your stomach (it's the best judge).  If it's empty and growling, you should add a whole banana to your breakfast vs. just half or have more than just a special K bar for lunch.

    2.  You ate very healthy today.  In my opinion, your dinner was especially healthy because it included real, fresh food, but the food was healthy and involved lots of vegetables.  Chicken is also healthy because it is one of the healthiest meats, and you need meat for a source of protein in your diet.

    3.  I'm no expert, but I'd probably guess that you ate around 1,000- 1,200 calories.  The average human's diet is about 2,000 calories, so again, it wouldn't hurt to add a little more to your meals.

    A few additional things to consider...

    -To keep healthy, it's not only important to eat healthy, but you also want to keep fit.  Try to exercise a little every day.  Go for a jog, do some sit-ups, or go for a bike ride.  Just keep in mind that exercising burns calories, so you may feel a little hungrier at meals, and it's okay to add an apple or some cucumber to your meal to satiate that hunger.

    -Just a few other healthy ideas you could try...

    Cereal (plain cheerios, etc.)

    Salads (I know I've mentioned that before)

    As far as meats go, chicken is always a healthy choice

  2. hi , i think the breakfast and dinner is great !

    but the lunch needs somthing else added to it . Just because your eating less dosent meen its heathly . try .. the specail k bar and a berrie smoothie. it act's as a food not a drink and its low calorie and very healthy , it also tides you over until supper (that's what berries do )

    ill give you the recipe

    RECIPE:(for a pitcher)

    .1 cup of milk

    .1cup of frozen fruit

    .1 cup of yogurt (of your choice) i prefere bannana!

    .and then puray in a  blender!

    (if frozen fruit is too expensive just buy fresh fruit and freeze it , or , you can put 1 cup of fresh fruit with 3 ice cubes)and make sure to put rasberries and strawberries in!

    no---you have no fats in your intake---cut out the grains and add some good fats like olive oil, some fish, some good red meats, butter

    there is no way to make a range without proper quantities of the food. Ball park figure---you are in starvation levels for calories---that is anything less than 800 cals/day

    here is a better healthier menu example

    bfst---2 egg omelet with sauted onions and peppers or any other type of veggies

    lunch----roasted veggies with olive oil and seasonings, leafy green salad with full fat dressing, grilled chicken/beef/pork/lamb

    dinner---broiled fish (oily fish like salmon), salad w/dressing, roasted veggies

    2 snacks per day---fresh berries, cheese, or low sugar yogurt(greek yogurt is good)

    I eat this way daily and lost 240lbs in 2 years and have maintained for 4 years.


  4. thats fine if you weigh 90 pounds. Otherwise your eating to little. Lunch should be your biggest meal of the day as well. (your current lunchis c**p).

    You need 12-15 calories per pound you weigh to maintain bodily functions.
