Did I break my foot as well?

Well recently (the week before last) I had a Bunionectomy with my great toe broken and a s***w added in the bone. I did not take it as easy as I should and as a result I have been experiencing pain on my foot opposite from the surgery area. I have fell a couple of times. I am wondering if this is normal or if I could have injured my foot more.?

You won't be the first who doesn't listen to take it easy after having a surgery . , understandable as well . We all want the pain to go away and move on as quickly as possible . When you have pain it always transfers somewhere else which is normal . And falling a couple of times well that's not normal you have to be careful how you walk and yes you may have caused more damages . Glad to hear you are going back to see your surgeon and take it easy otherwise you will end up having more surgery .Have a great day .
