Did I do alright on my Spanish?

I'm supposed to use either the past or imperfect form of the verb in the parenthesis to complete the sentences. The first sentences were supposed to have the correct form of venir, and the second ones were supposed to have the correct form of dar.

Ayer, mi tio Enrique, vino a vistarnos con sus hijos. Antes, cuando yo era chico, mi tio Enrique siempre venia a visitarnos con su novia.

Ayer, Estela y Jorge dieron una fiesta especial para su aniversario. Antes, cuando yo era chico, Estela y Jorge siempre daban fiestas para sus cumpleanos.

    you missed an i in the first visitarnos, but that´s just a typo, right? cause you got it in the second one.
