Did I do something wrong to someone?

Question

Honestly my answers are getting reported left and right. All I said was I thought one question asked by a troll was "actually funny" and it was reported, while other people said things that are considered offensive and mine got reported? I don't get it does someone have a grudge against me? Please tell me if I'm in the wrong, just lately it seems I'm getting violation e-mails when my answers aren't bad. If I was wrong and my answers have offended anyone in some way, I apologize I tend to be sarcastic.

You have to be so careful how you answer some questions.  I've had violations (3 for Tara J!) for telling trolls they're funny etc, and technically my answers weren't answering the question at all, they were just comments.  Some report trolls are sticklers for accuracy, as well as being monumental ars*-aches.  But if you're getting a lot of unnecessary violations you've probably picked up your very own pet Reporter Troll which is following you like a puppy.

Did you actually answer the question or did you state only that they were funny. In the strictest sense if you stated only the latter than according to CG it was a non answer and could be reported as a non answer violation.

I empathize with you that some people get reported out of the blue for no apparent reason. Yet some things that are insulting get to stay.

I get that!  People do not understand sarcasm.  

I got a violation the other day for not answering the question!  I guess people can can ask stupid questions, but WE cannot give stupid answers!   Not Fair, not fair!!

Some of these ANTI - trolls R worse than the trolls themselves !!! - like religious fanatics, they think they're 'morally superior' thus justifying their hypocrisy ! they hold their grudge 4 ever !! They become the very thing they claim 2 hate: thought police censors !!! - & NOW I WILL B TARGETED -s***w em,' - I take NOTHING seriously ! After all. we're ALL just a bunch of YAHOOS !!!

I love to joke around and I was stunned when I got "reported", so you're in good company.  Don't worry "trolls" are very sensitive schizophrenics.

You answered your own question hun, it's a troll (or 2 or 3) and that's why you're getting reported. Hang in there and appeal your violations to yahoo. Good luck!

they tend to report any "not an question or an answer" answers or post. so just answer the question and then be sarcastic or be sarcastic but still answer the question. my advice though just block the troll or dont answer their questions.trust me...ive learned the hard way.lol

Thats funny, my responses were deleted too.  Dont worry...it was probably the "evil seed" that reported them!!!

I think its funny to have so many "straight" people on here asking the most ridiculous questions and giving the most ridiculous answers, yet nothing hardly happens to them.  They need a new forum to visit!!
