Did I eat an okay diet today?

Today, this is what I ate:

Breakfast- 1 cup of naturally decaffeinated green tea

Snack- Cheddar cheese (about 3 slices)

Lunch - 1 scoop of mashed potatoes and 4 chicken nuggets

Snack - 3 chocolate chip cookies (medium sized)

Dinner- 1 chicken breast with, a cup of fresh, steamed green beans, a glass of milk

Snack- 2 glasses of orange juice (100%)

  1. i think you should eat a little more for breakfast because that is when you metabolism gets a kick start--maybe some fruit?

    lunch, i think could have been better...try just the chicken nuggets and some baked chips or some fruit instead of the potatoes

    everything else is really good though!

    another thing you could consider doing is sipping on water during the day.  


  2. You should have had something to eat at breakfast - either some cereal with low fat milk and fresh fruit or scrambled egg on toast and a piece of fruit.

    Cheddar Cheese is very fatty - you would be better with a banana or grapes or meat sandwich

    Mash potato and coated nuggets ar both fatty you would be better to eat more of low fat food

    Dinner was ok, you can allow yourselff a moderate helping of potato or rice with it.

    Snack - Biscuits are empty calories but doesn't hurt to have one or two some if you are not trying to lose weight

    Snack - ideally you should drink no more than one glass of fruit juice per day - you should eat more whole fruit.

    Overall your food tends to be small portions of fatty food with not enough fruit and veg. I count only 2 portions (fruit juice is 1 no matter how much you drink) and you should be aiming for a minimum of 5
