Did I eat okay today? (My diet)?

(I'm a 16 yr old girl, 5 ft 4'' and 138 lbs)

Morning:

Cereal Bar - 89 calories, 3g fat

2 weetabix with semi-skimmed milk, 1 sugar - 200 calories, 4 g fat

Lunch:

2 Crackers with low fat butter - 110 calories, 5g fat

Dinner: (I'm going to eat)

Mince Lasagna - 350 calories, 9 g fat

Snacks:

Salt and Vinegar crisps - 100 calories, 4. 8 g fat

Drinks:

Fizzy water - 1 calorie, 0 g fat

And my exercise was doing 500 skips and 10 minutes on an exercise bike....:)

  1. You need to pay attention to your carb intake as well as your nutrient timing.

    Considering your 16 you should have the metabolism to take care of your Cereal bar that is loaded with sugar. My suggestion is eating oatmeal. Oatmeal( real not packaged) will leave you feeling full as well as providing you with Low Glycemic Carbs that take longer to breakdown and can be uses for sustained energy throughout your morning.

    The main concern is the Lasagna for dinner. That is a lot of carbohydrates that you will not use for energy thereby they will be stored as fat.

    Try a high protein meal for your last meal of the day.If you do have to have crabs try and make them low glycemic so that they are not stored as fat if you do not use them as energy right away.

    The salt (sodium)and vinegar shios will only add to water retention so stay away from those.

    you need more veggies and fruits.

    and you also need more protein

    and you didnt eat enough calories either.

    replace all those carbs with veggies and fruits

    i dont think this is a great diet...

  3. You are not eating enough calories. In the calories you are eating you have too many carbs, not enough vegetables, not enough protein.

  4. It sounds like you did okay. I know you are watching your calories and I'm no expert, but maybe instead of just watchin you calories and eating things like Crackers with butter try eating celery as a snack. Or for breakfast maybe yogurt or a healthy smoothy.

    Just eat greens! Or fruits. Oh and drink water lots of water.

    Your exercise sounds good.
