Did I eat too much today????

im 17 yrs old 95pounds 5 feet and i a VEGANNNNNNNN and i hate soy.

breakfast:

1cup whole grain granola

snack:

1cup blueberries

1 mago

lunch:

2 whole wheat pitas with hummus

snack:

3 fresh figs(not dried) yummmmm

dinner:(didint have it yet)

i dont know im feelng bloated and fat so should i just have a bowl of whole grain cereal or some baked potatoes and salad???

anyways say i had the baked potatoes di i eat too much today????

  1. no not at all thats about how much i ate yesterday... including the potato and salad... so yep ur good!

If you get absolutely no exercise today, you're still ok.  If you get some exercise, you may need another snack.  Eating so little while you are still so young is setting yourself up for severe weight trouble as you get older.  Consider that when you reach your 40's you will have to eat even less and exercise more, are you eating enough?  Males don't stop growing until they are 19 years old, females keep growing  until they are 24 years old (very slow growth, like one more shoe size for you).  Don't cheat your body of the calories it needs to grow in a healthy way or you will have even more trouble in your 40's and beyond.

  3. No, you haven't eaten too much.  You could eat quite a bit more yet and it wouldn't be too much.  You seem to need a little more protein than you are getting, so try to include some protein with your dinner.

    That is a great diet and perfectly balanced.

    Secondly, it doesn't matter how much you eat, its what you eat and its nutritional value.

    That probably doesn't even amount to 2000 calories, so you're fine!
