Did I fill in this acting resume correctly?

So I found the resume format here: http://actinginfo.blogspot.com/2007/09/beginners-acting-resume.html

And I'm wondering if I filled it in correctly. Is it too bare? Too detailed? Did I do it wrong? Please let me know. I want to audition for Disney Channel stuff and this is the resume I found. Is a good one?

  1. You need your hair color/eye color with the other stats at the top.  Take out the sports and hobbies section, its unnecessary; the last section should be skills and just list dancing, singing, writing, etc.  A professional resume shouldnt include dogs and friends and what you like in your spare time.  Under training put the names of teachers.  For the theater credit add the location, role played, and director's name.  I have never seen that career objectives section either, but you apparently used a child actor resume format so I guess go with it if thats what they said!

  2. That's not exactly correct. Check with your agent about "child actor" rules, but I've never seen an age range put on an acting resume. They can pretty much tell how old you are, and what age you can play.

Where did you take the classes? Instructor name?

    OBJECTIVES are  unnecessary.

And what role did you play in each production, and where? If it's a school play, you can just say "Hillwood Players" or something similar.

Of course, you need a contact phone number.

  3. Talent Agencies have their own résumé format, which is used by their clients.

  4. it looks fine. the only section i'd change is the "Sports & Hobbies" part. this is how i'd put it:

    Hobbies:

Dancing, singing, and taking acting classes. Enjoy reading, writing, talking and hanging out with friends, spending time with the family, and playing at the beach with dogs.

  5. very well but the website you got it from is for more of child actors what you need it something that is formated the way an agent would want it- from experince resumes are improtant to repesention the way mine is formated it like this:
