Well my friend's sister(Kailey)and two of my cousins(Erika and Melissa) went to a street dance in town(we live in a rural area). My cousins r staying at their house tonight. My friend(kari) stayed home to babysit and I also was babysitting. Their curfew was 12:30. Kailey called her at about 12:45 and she sed if her mom and dad called tell them that they r sleeping but they were at a party. my friend got mad at her and hung up on her. then kailey had sum1 else call & asked kari if she was mad at her sis she lied & sed no & that she hung on her because she couldn't hear her. then the sum1 who called told her the same thing kailey did. kari called me and asked me what to do cause she had no idea what to do she didn't wanna be on the s*** list with her parents or on the s*** list with her sis. I told her to tell kailey that if she didn't start driving home now that she would tell her mom that they had went to a party instead of coming home on time. Did I give Kari the right advice?

  1. Yes I think you gave her good advice. I hope that they got home safely and no one got into trouble!

  2. Speaking as a parent and grandparent I commend you for telling your friend the right thing.I understand your friend was put in an difficult position.Kari's sister needs to learn about accepting responsibility for her choices. She should not expect her sister to  lie for her.Kari would be accountable to her parents if she lied.I know it would be unlikely that anything would happen at this party. However what if something did and hrr sister got in any sort of situation.(things happen all the time). It is always harder to do the right thing than the wrong thing. You are a good friend.
