Did I go overboard?

Question

I was at a friends of my brothers house for a barbecue. It was myself, my brother, and 2 other couples. The last couple who came into the house knew my brother from highschool, I believe I met them one other time a while ago. Anyhow ythe last couple comes in and greets everyone but me. I stood up to shake their hands and they walked by me like I wasn't there. For about 15 minutes they walked around, got food and chatted, walking within 5 feet of me and didn't even acknowledge my presence. I was pretty pissed off and told them that it is common courtsey to introduce yourself or greet everyone in a house, and to show me even a little bit of curtesey. They both got red faces and apologised a lot but I wasn't buying it.

wow, uve got guts! i probably wouldent of said anything unless i had known them a little..but i wouldent of called them out quite like that..i would of made some sort of joke about it.. they probably weren't trying to b aholes on purpose..i dont know the whole situation but it sounds like u crossed a tini tiny line..dont worry though, u can pass a message amongst friends and apologize..
