  1. i wouldn't be suprised know how scarred they love to keep us.

  2. Yes.  And it wasn't because the Sun is increasing in energy.  Quite the opposite.

It's because CO2 is holding more of the Sun's heat in.

EDIT - I read willow's article.  The heat that even a large volcano puts out is trivial compared to what CO2 holds in.  The numbers are staggeringly different.

  3. look at this http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/...

Bob you should read it too

  4. Sure why not, they do it EVERY summer. This is not abnormal.

  5. I can relate to that since i am in Canada . Their is a hole in the ozone layer and this is not the first time I hear about those meltdowns especially last year for some reason.

But what was melted down just got replenished with the amount of snow we got this year. So we back to square one.

  6. My answer is, did you actually listen to that nonsensical idiot!!  Poor girl.  God Bless you.

  7. There are 2 possible causes:

    1) Emissions from my car

    2) That huge ball of gas and fire at the center of the solar system

    If I were a self-loathing Liberal, I would say it was #1...but since I'm a bit more rational...I'll go with #2.

  8. As it has many many times before in the recent, as well as, the distant past.

Why should I?  Cooper didn't.  What he threw out was a naked fact.  It should raise the following questions the second you hear it:

    Has this happened before?

    Does this happen often?

Sea ice is a continent sized phenomenon.  You could lose California in it.

Was he speaking of the ice melt from maximum (winter) to minimum (summer) or was he saying that that much MORE area was melted?

Those questions should be resolved by YOUR research.  I've done mine.  Why should you trust me?  Start Googling and start reading.
