OH yes he did!

In a meeting today with several socialist.....oops... democrat... Governors, Barack Hussein Obama was talking about "building bridges and highways" and PERFECTLY DESCRIBED the

"When you start building roads and bridges, you need concrete, you need timber, you need a whole bunch of 'inputs' that are going to then create RIPPLE EFFECTS throughout the manufacturing base throughout the country and put people back to work"

Well... there ya have it... after 20 years, the policies of Ronald Reagan and the CONSERVATIVES have been VINDICATED and VALIDATED by the "head democrat" himself!

Will Liberals now "change their tune" on Conservative economic philosophies?

  1. nice freudian slip and good use of capital letters... but are we still emphasizing that he shares a name with a dead tyrant?

  2. Tricle Down Economics (a.k.a. Voodoo economics) is not about public investment in our infrastructure.  In fact, just the opposite is true.

  3. Ha.  That's funny.  Taking money in taxes and putting it into work projects to repair and maintain our national infrastructure is a very different thing than giving tax money to multibillionaires so they can buy an island with a private golf course on it.  Oops.  Almost forgot to answer your question.  No.  You did not just hear Obama support trickle down economics.  You just thought you did.

  4. Simple WTF!

  5. Yep he did say that. He also said he will "double cross that bridge when he gets to it".

  6. change their tune? probably no, but if they do they will claim it as their own!

  7. I think your confused about the definition of trickle economics. Trickle down economics is about giving huge incentive tax breaks to corporations in the private sector so that they can better invest that money into expansion projects, thus creating more jobs. It is also about giving tax breaks to the rich individual so that they may spend more money in the retail sector which will pour more money into the private sector and stimulate the economy. It's not about government sponsored projects such as restoring the infrastructure. I have no problem with spending money on restoring the infrastructure so long as it is done by government workers and not private contractors. Private contractors are thieves and so are the local politicians who support them. Also, the work really does need to be done anyways. I would rather spend the money there than spend it on a pointless war in Iraq.

  8. You obviously have no clue as to what Trickle Down Economics is if you think that is what he is arguing for.

  9. Conservatives are the people who don't invest money domestically...ie infrastructure, education, health care, VA, etc.
