Did I mess up my tattoo!?

Question

I got my tattoo yesterday and took off the wrapping after 3 hours. Overnight my tattoo oozed out and dried up into my shirt. I slowly took my shirt off and there's a mixture of blood, plasma, and ink on it. Did this mess up my tattoo?

It's possible, the only way to find out is to let it heal and see how it turns out. It may be fine, may not be. But your tattoo really needs to breathe and get oxygen to it...while sleeping you should avoid covering it up with clothing and during the day you need to wear something light and not close to your body.

no..it's just the blood and extra ink mixed together.

nah your fine. every time i would put the ointment on or get my tattoo slightly wet there would be a lot of ink that came off but it's fine, there's just a lot of extra ink so don't get too worried about seeing color coming off. also, if yours heals the same way that mine did there will be a point when all of the colors look really light and uneven but this is just because of skin that has healed over top of it. give it a few more weeks after that stage and the colors will be dark again. bleeding shouldn't mess it up too much either but it's better not to force the peeling off.

your fine...my tattoo did that and it looks great...just gently wash your tattoo with dial to get rid of the excess blood/ plasma/ ink and pat it dry
