Question:

Did I miss my ovulation window?

My cycle is usually 34-37 days, so I started testing on day 17. I have been taking ovulation test for three days now in the morning (around the same time). It seems that the Test line is getting light and lighter than the reference line each time I have tested. This last time I tested the line was very faint. I am just wondering if I missed my ovulation window or not but I am going to keep testing just in case. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

  1. I went through alot! Pills,Ovulation test, watching the calendar,Taking my temp!!! You name it and my husband and I probably tried it!! We tried for 3 years!!! My friend gave me this advice and I got pregnant in 3 months after trying it the way she told me!! *Below is what she told me*

Remember you ovulate 14-16 days before you start your period. The time to have s*x to get pregnant is when you are very wet, slippery, and stretchy down there*******,alot of women's right or left side will hurt when the egg is released.******* You need to have s*x atleast two or three times the week of ovulation to get preganant.*****VERY IMPORTANT! Stay laying down 30-45 minutes after s*x DO NOT GET UP AT ALL.WAIT TO PEE!!! *****It takes 30-45 minutes for the sperm to reach the egg to fertilize it.Hope this helps!!:) Good luck****

It took me three years of trying and I got this advice from a friend and I got pregnant in Three months after I took her advice:)

All it really is is just paying attention to your body! :) Once you get that down you might as well go out and start buying maternity clothes and baby items!!! :)

  2. If you have been having s*x, you might not have missed ovulation.

Ovulation tests should not be done in the morning. They recommend later in the day. I would suggest you test for a few more days in the afternoon, at the same/similar time if you can. Some women find it better to test in the evening as well, to try to catch the hormone surge, as it is easily missed.

If you had a dark line at any point, then this was your surge. If you haven't managed this month, at least you will know for next.

    Good luck. xx
