Did I over stock my 29 gal tank?

Question

In my 29 gal tank I have 7 gold danios & 7 zebra danios. Is this tank over stocked?

I will not be adding any other fish but I just want to make sure i'm not overstocked.

Someone at a pet store told me when I was getting tropical fish that you need to have 1-2 gallons of water available for each fish you get depending on their size. So your fish are pretty small and you could probably fit some more in your tank. Have fun and good luck!!

It is fine. I'd add a single bristlenose plec for some bottom interest or 5 corydoras. Or 4 'Zebra Loach' (NOT Clown Loach - they grow way too big)

It depends on the size of them, but I'm pretty sure that you are ok unless they all grow to be about 2 inches or more each.
