Did I work myself too hard?

I was at a track meet and did almost every single event over a period of 2 days. I did the 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and 1600m. The 50m, 200m, 800m and 400m were all the same day, yesterday. I run track a lot and ive gotten used to racing, and I never get sore after racing anymore. But today I am EXTREMLY sore from all that. Did I over exert myself? Was it a bad idea to do so many events?

  2. It may have been a little bit too much on your body...

    How long have you been Running? If you just started,

    you may have over did it...Rest and relax for a day...

  3. yes u did and that is very bad. The max amount of races you should compete in is 3 or 4 if your feeling very good. If you over exert yourself you will really weaken yourself. Believe me there was a state qualifying runner at my highschool for the 100 and he ran 6 races and when he got to the 100 he was last place. As a heads up you should seperate your running into either distance or sprinting and big mix of these two is a mixture for disaster.
