jordan didnt care about the cash per se. i remember reading an article saying he was the best bargain for 3 million dollars a year (in the early 90's). he made A LOT more than that from his endorsements. i dont think mj ever wanted to the the first $100 million man or anything like that. he just wanted to win.

kb on the other hand, came into the league early and won his first championship by the age of 21 (or 22). the rings came easy but the respect didnt.

even today, he'll get crucified for everything he does...until he wins a ring as the #1 guy on the lakers.
