Did Jack Twist cheat on Ennis Delmar? Brokeback Mountain.?

What did Jack's dad tell Ennis almost at the end of the movie?

That Jack was gonna go there with another guy? Can someone explain it to me.

What Jack's father said is that Jack had said over many years that he was going to split up with his wife and bring Ennis to live with him at his parents' ranch. The father then further said that in the spring of the year Jack died (this would have been on his visit to his parents after the campout with Ennis when Ennis broke down), Jack said that he was bringing up a neighbor from Texas and that he and Jack would be living on the ranch with Jack's parents. Oviously, this was the guy Jack met at the dance. When Jack told Ennis that he had "a little thing goin' on" with a rancher's wife, it was actually this guy that he was talking about. I think he mentioned it to Ennis to try to make him a little jealous- and yes, Jack "cheated" on Ennis many times. The point of that was just what Jack said, he couldn't make it on the few times a year that they saw each other.

Jack's parents knew that he was g*y and the father made a point of mentioning the other guy to make Ennis uncomfortable.

I'm not sure about the ending, but I'm pretty sure Jack Twist hooked up with a guy in Mexico after Ennis didn't have time for him that once.

Jack did cheat a few times, first with the male prositutes in Mexico, then later with the bearded man at the end of the movie who invited him to his cabin.  To be fair though, Ennis was growing apart from Jack the entire movie because of his refusal to accept his feelings for Jack-- so Jack was trying to get over him.  Sad story.

That was the impression I got. Jack got tired of waiting for Ennis? :( So he was going to bring a different fella on down.. Probably some dood in TX.

He didn't stop loving him though.
