Question:

Did Janeway destroy the Borg in "Endgame" ( Voyager) or just stop them from traveling great distances?

I mean, yeah the queen died ...again, but they can open a drawer and get another one out. Just curious on how some of y'all interpereted the end of "Endgame".

  1. endgame was a great finish for the voyager storyline, but it wasn't the end of the borg. like the previous answerer, they popped up again in the resistance series of books. if you go to wikipedia, and search on borg, you can find alot of stuff you never really knew about the borg.


  2. She did a lot of damage to the Borg, killing the Delta quadrant Queen and destroying the conduit system that allowed them to easily travel between the Delta and Alpha quadrants, but she did not destroy the entire Borg Collective.

    In the Next Generation novel "Resistance" by J.M. Dillard, the Borg construct a gigantic ship in the Alpha quadrant with which they plan to destroy Earth. Inside that ship, they create a new Queen using a technique which Dr Crusher determines is similar to the method used by bees to create a new queen.
