  1. Generally speaking, a Japanese women explained it to me that all Asians accept that they are of Mongolian descent.

All the original emigrants thousands of years ago to the Japanese Islands were of Mongolian stock.

  2. Korean and Japanese languages may  look very different because they use different scripts, but are in fact so similar in structure that word-for-word translation works pretty well in many case.

We share the same roots with other Asian people, I:m sure, but I doubt that  the Japanese people 'came' from mainland Asia.  There were already people on the islands that are now Japan long before they were separated from the continent.

As for the complexion, it depends on what part of Asia you are takling about.  People in south/south east Asia (Indians, Malays, etc.) generallly have much darker skin than the Japanese, but my Japnaese eye cannot distinguish between the Japanese, Koreans and many Chinese people.

  3. They are different waves of immigrations in Japan, the first was aout 12000 years ago by the Ainu (the first real japanese) that are not asian but more malais in traits and language origin. The second was at 600B.C by the Chinese, another waves of Chinese around the Qin dynasty in China, Koreans followed later on but still very influenced by China mainland. The Ainu and Chinese have interbreed, thus creating the disimilarity between them and the Chinese. You will also notice that some Japanese with very hard facial traits are positioned very high in Japan society, as the Ainu where forming the elite class of Japan a few centuries ago, and still dominate the political landscape of Japan but they are now metis of both origins. The short size of the Japanese is due to the fact that they lived on a Island, (works the same as gold fishes, if you put a gold fish in a very big aquarium, he will grow very big too, but put a small gold fish in a small aquarium and he will not overgrow)...
