Did Jared Staal get drafted by a team?

I missed the draft last night. So I havent got the chance to find out who drafted Jared Staal or if he got drafted. does anybody know?

Jared Staal was drafted by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 2nd round of the 2008 NHL entry draft, 49th overall. That means he was drafted today and not yesterday.

And I have heard that he is the laziest yet most talented of the brothers as well. Hopefully being drafted this low compared to his brothers will change his work ethic and show his true potential.

Jared Staal was drafted 49th overall by the Phoenix Coyotes, so that means it was in the 2nd round of the draft.

And, unlike everyone, I think he's the least talented of the family. I don't think he's good enough to play in the next season. He's not even close to being as good as Eric or Jordan were at his age.

what the guy above me (i meant canuckle) said is right. i laughed so hard when i heard them say it because when jared was asked what he thought about it he couldn't say anything.

coyotes got the 49th pick from ottawa and they chose jared and i was going to ask a question about how the hockey god is always sending the hockey world signs even about places that get more sun than snow and shouldn't have hockey. having said that i would have moved on to a real question about how jared's gonna fit on the team.

coyotes did good. wheeling and dealing and making moves!

i think out of all his bros jared aside from marc was the one who liked the scrutiny the least...like he just wanted to be left playing hockey and not be bothered on how he's going to become like his brothers.

Just in case you missed all of these other answers. He got drafted by Phoenix today, 2nd round 49th overall.  So you wouldn't of seen him drafted yesterday. I thought maybe Carolina would of took him in the 2nd round, but they passed him up and used it on someone else.  He is the only Staal brother to not get drafted in the 1st round.
