Question:

Did Jesus ever tell us to pray to him?

I am a Christian who prays to the Father in the name of Jesus, but I've heard some Christians who actually pray to the Son, Jesus. Where does he tell us to do that? I've only seen where Jesus tells us to pray to the Father, and even HE prayed to the Father in the Garden of Gethsemane. Any thoughts on this?

  1. One should not talk to Jesus (pray) until you have a revelation that He is the God Man who came in the flesh.

If you have trouble with this 'ridiculous' event maybe you should study Isaiah 9:6 and tell me who the Everlasting Father is?

Isa 9:6  For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counsellor, [Or Wonderful, Counsellor] Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
