He knew that if Obama is elected, he himself Joe Biden would be Pres very soon after that. There's a lot of weirdos running around that are against Obama.

Could be but I'm sure that Obama has considered this as well.  So, God forbid it should happen, no man will have taken his life.  He chooses to give it because he understands that bigotry and ignorant racists are plentiful and they would rather try to kill him, not because he is not as qualified as the next, but just because he is Black.

Then on the other hand if McCain should win and his 5th cancer take over he may not survive it and Palin will be your president.

Either way the seated president may not survive so I guess we are down to voting for VPs now.
