Did Joe Biden ever have a ponytail while serving as Senator?

In pictures I've seen of him, he just looks like a man who USED to have a ponytail.... not that it's a bad thing. I'm just curious.

To the best of my knowledge he did not but strangely enough I agree he does look like a guy who did lol
